Description

The film opens with scenes from Bold in the rural district of Whiston. We see children on a country lane and then there are farming scenes showing horse-drawn vehicles and steam traction engines put to a variety of uses in farming. The farming scenes include ploughing, haymaking, threshing and removing felled trees. There are tarmac laying and rolling scenes, various scenes of heavy haulage, an industrial workshop and shots of a heavy vehicle being loaded on to a ship. We see shots of Great Sankey. There are also shots of North Wales scenery and of assorted steam engines in varying states of repair. The film ends with shots of fairground rides being transported by road.
