Description

The girls of Grange Park School enjoy a holiday staying at the Langdale Estate, Great Langdale in the Lake District. The girls are assembled and depart on a hiking trip to Hawkshead, passing through Elterwater and Skelwith Bridge and stopping for a picnic at the northern edge of Windermere. In Hawkshead, they watch a May Queen procession which includes a brass band. They visit Waterhead and board a boat at Ambleside Pier, feeding the seagulls as they travel across Lake Windermere to Bowness. The films ends wih the girls and teachers relaxing back on the Langdale Estate.
