Description |
The Manchester Wheelers Club - footage from several time-trial and road bicycle races in Cheshire and High Peak, Derbyshire. Shots of the racers and spectators, competitors being handed refreshments whilst racing through towns, up hills etc. Some racers are on tricycles. Locations include the Middlewich to Holmes Chapel road and the A535 towards Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. Cyclists cross the finish line and spectators are relaxing and enjoying picnics. The film ends with a crown green bowling match and trophy presentation. A club member downs a pint of beer in one go for the camera. |
