Description |
The lowering of lifeboats from a cruise liner then the sailors climbing into the lifeboats. Two sailors 'swinging the lead', a lead weight on the end of a rope to determine the depth of the sea. Mozambique town viewed from the sea then men and boys march behind a man carrying a rifle in Gold Madran near Aden. In Lahej in Yemen we see a young girl dancing to a drum and men bringing up water from a well using an elaborate systems of pulleys. The Suez canal being widened is followed by men in small boats selling rugs and views of the Canadian war memorial. |
