Description

Views of the town of Skipton in Yorkshire. There are shots of the high street, old town hall, local ginnels and the castle. There is footage of an historic corner of the town showing the Pinfold (where stray horses and cattle used to be impounded) and a plaque marking the place from where John Wesley preached in 1764. The film ends with a shot of a traditional handloom weaver at work.
