Church members celebrate one hundred years of Methodism in Whitewell Bottom; 5th - 13th March 1949. The congregation are seen leaving the chapel on a winters day - A group of people walk down Brock Clough Road and assemble to sing hymns and listen to an open air sermon. Further activities and events include Whitewell Bottom Wesleyan Sunday School's procession on the 1st May 1949 and civic dignitaries attending the reopening of Whitewell Bottom Chapel on the 3rd October 1954. |
