Description |
A record of an event held at Leeds Corn Exchange as part of local Coronation celebrations in 1953, celebrating a wide range of hobbies. Shots of the hall’s interior show people wandering around and looking at the stalls and displays. Featured hobbies include beekeeping, ceramics – with a potter using a wheel – amateur radio and film, model railways, and there is a miniature railway for the younger visitors to enjoy. There is also a demonstration of weaving, and a working zoetrope on display. |
