Description |
A short drama set in a 1950s dance hall and featuring members of the Hatherlow Sunday School, in which a young woman attempts to get a young man to dance with her. After exchanging glances across the room, she is disappointed not to be asked by him, and uses the opportunity of the Ladies' Invitation Dance to approach him. He refuses and she is crestfallen. Her embarrassment is compounded when it is revealed that his reluctance is due to a disability - he only has one leg. |
