Description |
A family holiday to Jersey, opening with animated titles. Scenes of the journey to the airport, aeroplanes taxiing in the wet; interiors of the plane - passengers and stewardesses; airborne shots out of the window. Beach scenes on Jersey, the family relaxing in deck chairs; Mr Wintrobe playing with his daughters, Avril and Carole, and playing ball with another man. A sandcastle is seen with a Union Jack, and a young woman in a classic 1960s leopard skin print bikini walks past. Scenes in the hotel garden: the front page of the Daily Express reads 'Russia to Israel: Stop this war and withdraw.' Other scenes around the island: a pottery; the girls are seen sitting in a convertible car; and a trip to 'Devil's Hole'. |
