Description

An instructional film featuring three cardiac operations, performed by Dr James Glennie, at the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Victoria Hospital in Blackpool. The three procedures seen are a closed mictral valvotomy, a coarctation of the aorta and a pulmonary valvotomy. The first two operations are accompanied by an explanatory voice-over from Dr Finlay Brown and all three are shown in close-up.
