Description |
A crowd waits at the unfinished St Peter and Paul RC church in Haresfinch, St Helens. The Archbishop Downey, of Liverpool, ascends some steps at the site, attended by clergymen. It is a windy day, the Archbishop performs a blessing, and leaves . The crowd disperses, there are shots of the foundation stone laid by the Archbishop, and of the church's unfinished exterior. Groups stand and talk, there are houses in the back drop, clergymen walk by. |
