Description |
Scenes from the Linnet Clough Scouts County Rally which was held from the 4th to 6th of July 1969. On the Friday evening, the scouts set up their tents, make some food and gather for speeches from a scout leader. On Saturday they take part in scout activities such as archery, pioneering and practice first aid. They later go sailing in Compstall followed by grass skiing. After dinner, they sit and listen to a man sing and play the guitar. After the scout certificates are handed out, there is more singing and dancing. |
