The filmmaker's daughter Rita plays with a ball on a cobbled street, and then later plays by a river with a bucket. The girl's mum Penny sits on a rug with a radio. There are scenes of Rita with a dog, snowy hills, playing with the dog in the garden, going for a walk in the hills and a snow storm on the hills. There are scenes outside their house, and then more scenes of the family walking another dog in the snow.
