Description |
Footage from three Civic Sunday processions in Fulwood, Preston. Assorted clergy, dignitaries, servicemen and youth groups are seen on route to Fulwood Parish Church. Following the service, they are seen leaving the church and heading back through the streets. No servicemen or police are filmed at the 1940 procession due to "war restrictions." Also includes brief scenes of children playing in a park, and exterior and interior views of the new County Branch Library. |
