Description

A small anti-deportation demonstration and rally in support of Pedro Galleguillos under threat of deportation back to Chile. The rally is in Albert Square, Manchester where Francisca Carrasco talks about Chile on behalf of ACCHLA (Chile and Latin American Cultural Association) and the danger of sending Pedro back to Chile. Then Pedro speaks about his imprisonment in Strangeways Prison in Manchester. There are a series of other speakers who recount the worsening situation for black people in the UK and the Pinochet coup in Chile. Final speaker is Morenga Bambala from the All Africa People's Revolutionary Party (AAPRP) who speaks in solidarity with people under threat of deportation.
