Joshua Preston, Mayor of Stockport, and other family members are seen enjoying a special White Star Line excursion, to view the ocean liner 'Cedric' on June 19th 1930. The family are seen boarding a train at the station and posing for photographs on board ship. Also includes footage of the 'Britannic' during its maiden voyage to New York on June 28th 1930. Large crowds line the quayside at Liverpool awaiting the ships departure. |
