Description

Student documentary showing David Knight, a stage hypnotist, performing one of his shows. Susan Leigh, a clinical hypnotherapist, argues that stage shows run by underqualified practitioners undermine the serious work done by the profession. Knight defends stage hypnotism, arguing that it acts as a shop front for the power of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool. Includes shots of volunteers under hypnosis at one of Knight's shows held in a social club.
