Description |
Vessels are towed in to be dismantled at Garston beach, Liverpool, by workers at Pemberton and Carlyon Shipbreakers. Salvage and survey vessels 'Salva' and 'Vigilant' (or 'Staunch') are shown in Birkenhead docks and then arriving at Garston to be broken up. There are also scenes from the demolition site of a Glaxo factory in Runcorn, with views over to the Runcorn/Widnes bridge. Concludes with a brief shot of an ornate doorway. |
