Description |
Promotional film for British Airways highlighting the natural, sporting and cultural attractions that the North West has to offer. This film updates the earlier 1972 version, to reflect the change of company name from British European Airways to British Airways. Aerial footage of the region is interspersed with views of five people from the North West enjoying different leisure activities. There are scenes of the region's industry, education and commerce as well as glimpses of Manchester's night-life, including restaurants, clubs and a Halle Orchestra concert at the Free Trade Hall. The five people are revealed to be members of the same BA flight crew and are seen at Manchester Airport the next day, preparing for a flight to Brussels. |
