Description

The boys and girls of Grange Park School, St Helens holiday in the Lake District, staying at the Langdale Estate, Great Langdale. We see them hiking, looking down on Grasmere from a hill top and playing on the estate, The boys swim in a lake and do some fishing, then we see them taking another walk with the girls. They board a boat at Ambleside Pier and take a trip across Windermere and watch some sailing boats. The girls swim in the lake back at the Estate, a teacher emerges from the Britannia Inn in Elterwater and we see brief shots of some birds in a cage. The group leave for home on a coach and arrive back in St Helens and Grange Park School.
