Description |
This film promotes the benefits of being a member of the Blackpool Boys' Club. The film opens with scenes of a boy aimlessly wandering the streets until he stumbles upon the Blackpool Boys' Club, and then we see all that the club has to offer. The 'junior' and 'senior boys' have separate activities, they include boxing, snooker, gymnastics, football, table tennis, drawing, painting and watching films. The juniors visit Morecambe with a group of visiting Austrian children and the seniors go to Windemere. We also see them playing cricket and football matches against other youth clubs. The film ends with scenes from a management committee meeting where all of these activities are planned. |
