Description

John and Sybil Hindley on a trip to America. Scenes on board ship of the couple and friends relaxing, having a drink and a smoke. Also views of the shore as the ship enters New York harbour, including the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. The ship's arrival at the French Line dock, where there are waiting crowds. Scenes inside a large house with John and Sybil and friends. People in evening dress in a garden and on the beach. Also a trip to Washington and Capitol Hill and a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, featuring a native American tourist spot called Cherokee Lodge.
