Description

A trick photography sequence, showing children climbing out of a tea chest, followed by their staging mock skirmishes in the garden and then playing dead. Views of youths and workmen demolishing the old chapel, followed by a foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building, scenes of girl guides and scouts parading and children on-stage in a nativity play. Children are then seen watching a Punch & Judy show, followed by a girl pushing an infant around the garden in a pram. Brownies and girl guides congregate around a campfire, before marching into town behind a girl guide on a horse. Concludes with men and women dressed in Victorian costume playing a game of cricket and girl guides and scouts saluting outside a church.
