Description |
Gently amusing film, written by W G Oakes, about the different activities of a group of friends on August Bank Holiday. Two go fishing, four go for a country walk and another group go for a picnic - after several mishaps, including being chased by a farmer, and one of the group falling into a river, they all end up back at home safely, although the two fishermen are a bit worse for wear after spending a large portion of their day in different pubs on the way home. Locations include Middlewich and Tarporley Stations, suburban houses and the countryside around Beeston Castle. |
