Description |
Robin Knox Johnson reports on the sport of sand yachting from the beaches at Lytham St Annes. Johnson demonstrates how to put together and how to sail in one of the yachts, and interviews various sailors (some local, some international) about the sport at an international championship held in Lytham. The difficulties of the sport relying on wind strength is also shown, as the races have to be called off for a time due to the strong winds being too dangerous to sail in. |
