Unionists, miners - including Lancashire and Yorkshire miners - and other supporters taking part in a march in Manchester, approximately 500 strong, on 7th May 1984 during the Miners' Strike. Marching from Manchester Cathedral area to St Peter's Square with rally and speakers. Lots of banners, placards - Coal Not Dole, Victory to Miners. Slogans - Maggie OUT OUT OUT. Interviews with people marching including Joe Fleming from Hulme Community Arts. |
