Description

Leslie and Sybil Bletcher and the Rice family on holiday on the Isle of Wight. En route, they stop at Ross-on-Wye and Tintern Abbey. The family stay at a Countryside Holiday Association hostel in Freshwater Bay. The family visit many places on the island, including Carisbrook Castle, Osborne House and the village of Godshill, where they watch thatchers at work. They family go to the swimming pool, and play cricket with a football on a [dirty] beach.
