Description |
Light-hearted look at the 'activities' of the Stockport Cine Society. The society looks for a new venue following the eviction from their old premises by the council (in order to build a swimming pool and leisure centre). After relocating to High Lane Village Hall, an attempt to improve the refreshments at the society gradually results in cine activities being abandoned in favour of gourmet cooking and dining. Includes footage of construction work on the swimming pool in central Stockport. This film won a commendation at the IAC North West region's annual film show in 1980. |
