Description

Meeting of IBers at WFA as part of the events surrounding the dedication of the Spanish Civil War International Brigades' Memorial at Manchester Town Hall in 1983. In the concluding minutes, they all sing 'A Valley called Jarama' and prepare to leave for the reunion at the SOGAT Club. Footage from the SOGAT Club - singing old war songs, sometimes accompanied with an accordion. Then a discussion amongst a group of IBers, including Eddie Frow, about the event at WFA and the different views that emerged about a Channel 4 programme about the Spanish Civil War - where it succeeded and where it failed. They continue their discussion about their own experiences and representations of history.
