Description

From a film studio set in Bombay, men serving in India send personal messages home to their loved ones in Manchester and the North West of England. In the opening scenes, pairs of men sit at tables and deliver their messages one by one, straight to camera. Further contributors appear around different parts of the ‘mess room’ set. The film ends with the group seated at tables, waving and saying cheerio as the camera quickly pans round the room and music plays.
