Description

Boy scouts and wolf cubs listen to speeches from the Mayor and the Chief Scout before a tree-planting ceremony. He meets various leaders and troops, hands out badges, and a Scottish band perform. The Scout Leader meets veterans and the boys take part in activities and games including dry slope skiiing, enamelling metal and first aid demonstrations. A Scouts Own ceremony takes place including music from a brass band. Certificates are handed out and the Scout Leader receives the gift of a picture on stage. Finally, the boys pack up the tents and leave for home.
