Description

Richard's christening was held on the 5th of September 1971. Friends and family can be seen arriving at St Wilfrid's Church in Grappenhall. After the service, guests make their way to a restaurant for a meal. The film cuts to scenes of Steven riding a mini motorbike in a field. In December, the family celebrate Philip's birthday with a football themed birthday cake. Later, the family can be seen arriving at Hartford Hall in Northwich. Richard's grandmother takes him out for a walk in his pram. Back at home, Richard plays with his stuffed toys. In May 1972, the family go on holidays to Cemaes in Wales where they stay at the Woburn Hill guest house. On the beach, Steven and Philip play football with their grandmother. They go swimming in the sea followed by building sandcastles. The family celebrate Richard's 1st birthday with a mouse themed cake. Out in the garden, Richard plays with his toys and with his brothers.
