Description

Compilation reel opens with scenes outside Bleasdale House Special School in Silverdale featuring Mr and Mrs Farmer, the parents of a boy who has cerebral palsy, visiting their son Nigel. There are exteriors of a tobacconists' shop in Oldham before Keith Joynson in his RAF uniform plays with a cat in the back garden of the family house in Failsworth. The Farmer family are seen on holiday in the Scarborough and Whitby area in good and bad weather. Guides, scouts and brownies take part in a Whit Walk in Failsworth before the film ends with Kathleen Joynson posing for the camera in her garden with friends.
