Description |
A group of men in uniform poses in Chapel Street. There is then a procession of soldiers and civilians through Altrincham where the streets are lined with cheering crowds. A horse-drawn carriage and bicycles bring up the rear,and the procession passes the Altrincham Picture Theatre where the staff are gathered outside. In Chapel Street a plaque is unveiled by the Earl of Stamford who makes a speech, while a large crowd watches. |
