Description

A short film depicting a Masonic trip from Burnley to Scarborough where the group can be seen strolling through the streets and visiting the Masonic Lodge before making their way down to the sea front past the Grand Hotel. Here, they take off their shoes and socks to paddle, splash and dance in the water, before watching an unusual ventriloquist performance on the beach. There are also sweeping shots of the Scarborough sea front. The group then make their way to Peasholm Park where they enjoy afternoon tea and strolling through the gardens in front of the iconic pagoda cascade, and then head back to Scarborough station. The reel ends with a brief shot of a girl in a street, location unknown.
