Gordon Conquest, Lord Mayor of Manchester, talks about the proposed redevelopment of parts of the inner-city areas of Ancoats and Miles Platting. The intention is to provide outdoor space for youth to meet up and play, a subject on which the young people of these areas have lots of ideas and plenty to say. Housing officer Reece Davies meets up with a group of them to discuss the city council’s timetable for the development of the area, and to answer their questions about the facilities they’re hoping to get. |
