Description |
Scenes from the Glossop and District Scouts camping trip to Holland in 1975. We see the scouts leave on a coach as their families wave goodbye. We then see scenes from their trip to Holland. They stay at Camping de Tolplas and there are lots of scenes throughout the film of the scouts at the campsite. We see them cooking, eating, washing up, swimming and relaxing around the tents. They visit various places in Holland. We see them playing in the sea at Hardewijk, relaxing on the shores of a lake at Oudemeyer and visiting the war cemetery at Arnhem. They go on a boat trip in Amsterdam and they also visit Volendam, Kampen and Almelo. There are scenes from an open air pool in Wierden where we see them diving into the pool and swimming. They also see a demonstration of clog making. |
