Description |
The unveiling of a memorial to the miners of Agecroft Colliery with speeches and interviews with ex miners, union representatives, local teachers and members of the Irwell Valley Mining Project. The monument is unveiled by ex miners and blessed by a priest before children plant flowers around the monument. The film ends with music from the Besses Boys Band and people posing for photographs with the monument. |
