Description |
The film opens with general views of New Brighton. We see men fishing and boats on the Mersey. We then see scenes from the Grand Final Miss New Brighton Contest which took place 24 August 1966 at New Brighton Bathing Pool. The girls wear bathing costumes and parade in front of the watching crowd and the judges. There is entertainment from a brass band, and the winner is photographed with the trophy sitting on the sea wall. |
