Description |
Footage of restored speedboat 'White Lady II' in the Lake District. The film begins with shots of boats on the lake and the boating shed followed by the museum's restored paddle boat 'Mary Anne' from 1870 exhibited outdoors. We then see interior shots of men working on the White Lady II restoration in the warehouse; it is then wheeled out to the water and successfully driven by men in lifejackets at high speed. Scenic wide shots of the boat on the lake and landscape are shown along with surrounding steam, sail and speedboats. A crowd watches the boat from the pier and people are shown having boat rides on various vessels on the lake. |
