Description |
The second part of H W Taylor's tour of the USSR begins with a look at the footwear of the Russian people then scenes on board a ship on the river Volga. In Kazan we have street scenes at a railway station and views from a train including a park of culture. Sleeping passengers on the deck of a ship on the Volga followed by views of Khvalinsk and Samara. After views of the wooden houses of the German settlement in Saratov we visit the docks at Stalingrad. Camels in Rostov and people swimming in the Volga followed by street scenes in Leningrad. |
