Description

A meeting of IBers at WFA as part of the events surrounding the dedication of the Spanish Civil War International Brigades' Memorial at Manchester Town Hall in 1983. An introduction is given by Eddie Frow and a fellow IBer who explain the purpose of the meeting - to discuss the recently screened Channel 4 programme about the Spanish Civil War as a corrective based on their own experience and understanding. The discussion is being filmed with the intention that it supplements the programme in a corrective way. Contributions are made by many IBers and their families, giving a critique of the programmes. Includes a contribution by Sam Wild and is followed by footage of the IBers and their families at the SOGAT Club.
