Description

The film begins with travelling shots of a train's journey from Wilmslow station to Manchester London Road (Piccadilly). Workmen carry out construction work on a new railway bridge. Includes various shots of steam trains, diesel locomotives and goods trains moving along the tracks. Maintenance work is also carried out on the railway during the winter month.
