Description |
William, Freda Moss and friends on a trip to America showing visits to New York, Washington DC and Boston. There is a short black and white sequence of the party in London, boarding a plane and Times Square lit up at night. The reel continues with excellent colour footage of Broadway at night, various street scenes with traffic and pedestrians along and a harbour trip with shots of the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline. The party visit Capitol Hill and other monuments in Washington DC, then they take a boat trip on the Potomac River. There are shots of the countryside during a car journey with stops to the Cherokee Indian Reserve and the town of Asheville, North Carolina. The group are seen boarding a plane bound for Boston, where the reel concludes with general scenes of the city and the Charles River. |
