Scenes showing members of the Randall family and friends on a winter's day skating on Sefton Park Lake. Two men (one of them Ken Wilson?) play leapfrog in the garden of the family home, smoking a pipe and talking to the camera. A group of men are seen sitting outside their tents during a camping trip at Skelwith. Footage includes two older men dancing on the sidelines of a rugby pitch- on a windy day, followed by shots of unidentified teams playing in a rugby match. Further scenes show men and women skating on Sefton Park Lake, men on a camping holiday near Morecambe, including shots of a man dancing to a gramophone record and another pointing a rifle as he shoots at a bottle target. Ends with a group of men taking a pleasure boat trip on Lake Windermere, having a meal inside a tent and pulling a piece of farming equipment in a nearby field. |
