Description

Hilda and Roy Garner visit a family grave at All Saints church, Church Lawton, and are visited by friends. They are seen cashing up at their shop, a Gents' Outfitters in Wilmslow, and at their new home at Christmas, exhanging gifts and preparing and eating Christmas dinner. The Hawthornes visit on Boxing Day - the children play with their new toys, they pull crackers over the dinner table and have a game of Mousie Mousie. In January 1966, the Ray family visit, and in November, a window in the shop is replaced and the Christmas display prepared. Scenes on Christmas Day followed by a Boxing Day visit to the Hawthornes'. They are seen at Rhyl on New Year's Day 1967 and in July, the Wilmslow Chamber of Trade visit the Wedgwood factory at Barlaston.
