Description

This film narrated by Anthony Quayle shows the history of the Vickers Group of industrial companies in their centenary year of 1967. In a mixture of archival and contemporary film it shows the range of products that the company have manufactured over the century focussing primarily on the ship building, aircraft and armaments industry. This film contains a small amount of local material, shipyard scenes and the launch of the British Admiral tanker in Barrow
