Description |
The film opens on Bacup high street, shots of the various shops and people browsing the market stalls. Crowds gather in the town square to watch a couple sing. In the next scene, people attend an exhibition to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Bacup. Speeches are given followed by a fancy dress competition for the children. Later a group of morris dancers perform in the town square. A procession makes its way through the streets, a brass band, the carnival queen and various floats can be seen taking part. |
