Description |
Film of a procession through the crowd lined streets of Disley in Cheshire. Includes scenes of celebrations and events marking the Silver Jubilee. Large crowds stand in the town square[?] which is festooned with buntings and flags. Also features footage of some children participating in a running race. A group of spectators are seen standing in the middle of a field watching the activities in the rain. Concludes with shots of Southampton Dock taken from onboard a ship and scenes of a group of young men larking about on a beach; wearing bathing trunks. |
