Description |
The film opens on a close up of a birthday card for Richard's 2nd birthday. In the family garden, Richard and Philip play in a paddling pool. In the next scene we see scenes from the 1973 Warrington school sports event. Teams representing various schools parade along athletics track. Pupils take part in the sack races, winners stand on a podium where they receive their certificates. We see a close up of a photograph of the pupils of Stockton Heath pupils. New Years 1974, the three brothers play together in the garden with their dog. April 1974, Richard jokes around pretending to smoke a pipe in the garden while Philip tries to use the electric lawnmower. For Richard's 3rd birthday, they celebrate with a zoo themed cake. |
